About Prakash Shrestha
Born in Birgunj(Nepal), 28th January1958, Mr. Prakash Shrestha, the best play back singer, has been involved in the cultural development of Nepal, Especially in singing since 1973. He did diploma in music from Sangeet Pravakar- India, and is a permanent staff of ROYAL NEPAL AIRLINES since 1984. He has been honored by GORKHA DAKSHINBAHU 4TH from Late His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev for his outstanding performances. During his journey, Mr. Shrestha has been awarded with various prizes for his contribution in singing. Mr. Shrestha is also associated with All Nepal Table Tennis Association as the Vice President, Menber of All Nepal Football Association, Member of All Sports Cultural Association and Member of Australian Musician Union.
Beside Nepal, Mr. Shrestha has performed stage program in India, USSR, Bangladesh, Hongkong, Dubai, malaysia, Germany, UK, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bruinei, North Korea, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan. He has recorded more than 500 songs. Among them, these are the best choices of Mr. Shrestha.
