The Stars Shine Down is based on the life story of a young lady named Lara Cameron, who suffered from rejection at a young age, and struggled to survive. Her Scottish father abandoned her, while her mother passed away at childbirth. Lara ends up making an agreement with the owner of a boarding house to secure her first property in exchange for her body.
After tasting success, she relocates to Chicago with the intent of launching her real estate empire. After battling through numerous negative circumstances, she earns the title of “Iron Butterfly”, as she gets recognized as the most successful businesswoman in America. She falls in love with a renowned pianist, and marries him, being assured that she has fulfilled her destiny.
