The Lindeman's Cawarra Range is a tribute to the vision of Dr Henry J Lindeman, who in 843, purchased a property in the Hunter Valley, named 'Cawarra' (an Aboriginal word meaning 'beside running water') and planted his first vines.
The Lindeman's Cawarra Shiraz Cabernet (13.5% Alc) wines are made with the idea of creating wines that offer fresh, easily enjoyable flavors at a price that offers incredible value for money. A full boiled wine with spice & fruit flavors with a long, smooth finish.
The skill and diverse resources of the Lindeman's winemaking team has allowed them to source fruit of a quality rarely seen in a wine of this style. By focusing on this fruit and limiting the use of oak, they have been able to create a range of wines that are immediately appealing, consistent and offer maximum satisfaction. By sourcing fruit from a number of regions Lindeman's has been able to craft wines that are of a consistently outstanding quality.
Aromas of red berry fruit combine with darker spice notes and a touch of vanilla. Red berry aromas flow from the nose, developing into notes of blood plum, blackcurrant and sweet cherry. Soft spiced oak and natural acidity support a long finish.
