Palanchowk Bhagwati
The temple of Palanchowk Bhagwati is said to have been constructed during the reign of King Man Dev. The temple houses a 3 feet long beautiful artistic idol of Goddess Bhagwati carved in a black stone. Palanchowk Bhagwati is situated over the hill overlooking the valley of Panchkhal and 45 km north-east of the Kathmandu city. People come to this temple to fulfill their wish and if you truly have faith on her wish may fulfilled. Many People wish has been fulfilled by Palanchowk Bhagwati.
There is a story about how this temple built during Lichhavi King Man Deva. It is said that the Buchakot people dreamt that Goddes Bhagawati asked them to take her to the north of the place. While they were taking her to the north with great respect, they spent a night at the present temple area. The next morning they could not lift the idol off the place and they built the temple there.
